German Medical Academy Uzbekistan

The GMA is a flagship project sponsored by the Uzbek government.

The German Medical Academy is establishing an entirely new standard in international nursing education. At selected colleges in Uzbekistan, aspiring nursing professionals can now complete a comprehensive nursing education that, for the first time, is combined with a specifically developed German supplementary curriculum.

This curriculum offsets all theoretical differences compared to German nursing education—it is structured, practical, and conducted at the highest level.

Upon successful completion, the graduates receive an additional diploma that officially confirms their extended qualifications. An expert opinion (Mustergutachten) from the GfG already confirms that the graduates no longer show any theoretical deficiencies compared to their German counterparts. This significantly simplifies the path to recognition as a qualified nursing professional (Pflegefachkraft) in Germany.

This important project is a mutual commitment (Herzensanliegen) of GLOBOGATE in cooperation with the University Hospital RWTH Aachen (Uniklinik RWTH Aachen) and the Uzbek government. The collaboration sets a milestone in bilateral educational and healthcare cooperation, opening up new perspectives for young people—as well as providing German institutions with sustainable access to qualified, excellently prepared nursing professionals.

The German Medical Academy therefore stands for quality, innovation, and genuine partnership in international nursing education.
